School Based Professional Development plans of all the schools of Baa and Kaafu atoll school have successfully updated for the current academic year 20252. This significant milestone reflects a commitment by the PD coordinators Baa and Kaafu Atoll Schools. All the schools will be following this SBPD plan throughout the year 2025 to foster continuous professional growth of teachers and aligning development efforts with national curriculum.
The updated SBPD plans emphasizes on Student Centered Teaching approach, Inclusive Education Practices, Digital Literacy, Assessment for Learning, Leadership Development and 21st Century Teaching and Learning. The planning process involved collaborative input from school leaders, teachers, and other academic staff of the schools, ensuring that each school’s unique context and needs were addressed.
Regular monitoring and review of the implementation will be carried out by atoll and PD coordinators to ensure the plans are put into action effectively.
